Endorsements
It is with great pleasure that I offer my endorsement of Steve Nardi in his quest to be re-elected Vice Chair of Democrats Abroad. In the time I have known Steve, I have been impressed with both his leadership and with his dedication to Democrats Abroad. He has served Democrats Abroad in a number of capacities, including as Chair of DA Canada, and currently as Global Vice Chair. In Canada, Steve organized an extremely successful door-to-door canvassing campaign in Windsor, Ontario in advance of the 2024 federal election. A first of its kind in Democrats Abroad, Steve and his team knocked on the doors of over 4000 Americans, asking them if they had registered to vote and helping them do that if they had not. At a global level, Steve was instrumental in organizing the DA delegation to the DNC national convention last August, not only managing logistics, but also serving as a liaison between the DNC, the hotel, and each member of the delegation. These are just two examples of Steve’s organizational abilities.
Steve is also known for his dedication to empowering volunteers, not only in Canada, but throughout the world. He is always ready to lend an ear to those who need a friend, to advise when asked, and also to mediate conflicts if necessary.
Steve’s ability to think outside the box, and to entertain new and innovative ideas is exactly the kind of leader Democrats Abroad needs to help motivate and organize not only our members, but also those who are yet to join. I ask that you join me in casting your vote for Steve Nardi for International Vice Chair.

Among the candidates for Vice Chair, Steve has my vote. I’ve worked with Steve since 2017, when he first served as Chair of Democrats Abroad Canada, effectively uniting the Canada Board of newcomers and established volunteers. As DA Canada Chair, Steve also led the establishment of a physical campaign office, a tax webinar series that delivered valued information to members while also raising significant funds to support our mission, regular Chapter Roundtables providing a space for chapter leaders to support and inspire each other, and strategic partnerships with an NBA team and a former Ambassador to Canada.
Over the years, Steve and I have served in several different roles and different relationships. In challenging situations, I appreciate that I can disagree with him, knowing he will listen.
Steve has a strong work ethic, outcomes focus, infectious energy, and a ready laugh. I am grateful for Steve’s service and confident that he will continue to work hard and deliver for the Democrats Abroad mission, which is more important now than ever before.
Thank you, Steve.

I am delighted to endorse Steve Nardi for International Vice Chair. Steve’s record is defined by visionary leadership, tireless dedication, and a proven ability to drive innovation and results across Democrats Abroad. He has led several teams, served as a critical liaison with presidential campaigns, and ensured organizational continuity as Interim Americas RVC. His logistical expertise was instrumental for major events such as the 2024 Costa Rica Global Convention and the DNC Convention, and he is already shaping the 2025 Global Meeting.
Steve’s commitment to voter engagement is unmatched. He has pioneered first-ever initiatives like door-to-door canvassing in Windsor, Canada, and produced influential panels to empower overseas voters. His strategic approach to GOTV-implementing geo-fencing, collaborating with state parties, and coaching teams-has expanded our reach and impact.
As a champion of communication and inclusivity, Steve has developed tools to enhance global engagement, built cases for crucial funding, and represented Americans abroad in high-profile forums. His media presence and efforts to recruit Congressional allies further amplify our voice.
Steve’s work ethic- averaging over 60 hours a month- reflects his deep commitment. He is a collaborative, innovative, and empathetic leader who inspires others to excel. With experience in fundraising, technology, and grassroots organizing, Steve brings the vision and practical skills needed for this pivotal role.
I wholeheartedly support Steve for International Vice Chair. His leadership will ensure Democrats Abroad continues to thrive, innovate, and win.

It gives me great pleasure to endorse Steve Nardi for Vice Chair of Democrats Abroad.
Steve handled all the twists and turns that our country, party, and DA have encountered in the last two years with aplomb. His steady and thoughtful leadership have kept us focused on our mission.
I’d like to call out two of Steve’s successes from the last term:
He led an innovative program to do door-to-door canvasing in Windsor, Ontario, where DA worked in concert with the Michigan democratic party to knock on over 4000 doors in two weeks. This is the first time Democrats have gone door to door outside the USA.
He co-ordinated the logistics for the DA global convention in Costa Rica (working with the country committee) as well as for the DA delegation to the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Both events were very successful for DA, in no small part due to his work.
Most of all, Steve supports our volunteers. Whether you are a long term volunteer with DA, or just turned up last week, Steve is committed to your success. Having the voice of the volunteer in the person of the Vice Chair is critical to our future.
I urge you to re-elect Steve Nardi as International Vice Chair.
