Steve has held manager, director, vice president, and chief operating officer positions across organizations from tech start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Most of his career involved managing cross-border operations with remote team members. He also successfully produced industry-leading multi-day digital marketing conferences for the travel and tourism industry.
When not focused on Democrats Abroad, Steve contributes his time to Hospice Toronto, now in his 28th year as a volunteer. Steve served as a board director for 15 years, sitting as Board Chair through two rotations (9 years), including a period of organizational rebuilding. He has also served multiple terms as Chair of the Fund Development committee and Founder/Co-Chair of their signature There's No Place Like Home Gala.
Steve serves as Board Chair of Essential Partners in Care, a Canadian national not-for-profit that identifies support tools for caregiver resiliency through research and innovation.
Steve's leadership and skills were recently recognized with his appointment as a co-chair of the Association of State Democratic Committees Technology Committee. The Co-Chair position enables Steve to bring the Democrats Abroad perspective to ASDC Executive Committee discussions.
In his professional and volunteer career, Steve has developed strategic and operational leadership skills through diverse experiences, including managing virtual teams and cross-border operations. He understands talent development and resource management, driving growth for impactful results.
